These courses train candidates in the field of operation theatre and anaesthesia technology. OT and Anaesthesia technicians are expected to have adequate knowledge and skills in handling various equipments that are utilized within an operation theatre. These technicians are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, equipment set up and intra- and post-operation procedures. They are trained to assist the surgeons during the procedures and assume responsibility for completion of other functions as assigned.
